In this Suffolk job we stripped off a layer at the front of the property, before Re-thatching it in 16 to 18 inches of Long Straw. The back of the property was in a good condition so we were able to repair this, allowing us to keep the cost down for the owner.

Here at this property in Trumpington we completely stripped off the old roof down to the rafters and then sprayed them for Dry Rot and Wood Worm. We then installed PU28 Fireproofing on top of the rafters. The property was then Re-thatched in 14 - 15 inches of Water...
